Jury ‘s comment:

For many a reader, this book awakens the nostalgic feeling of their own childhood summer holidays. Ignoring current design trends, the book is a timeless testimony to the architecture of Estonian vacation homes of the 20th century. From the paper to the choice of typeface, a coherent object has been created that invites readers to browse and admire.

The modernist binding, which makes the book look modern, the technically complex covers are a success.
The choice of paper takes into account the content. Offset silver – very sensitive printing on front cover.
The beautiful result is achieved through excellent collaboration between designer and printer.

Jury:
The book made us gasp with its vintage-style illustrations and design, which in no way underestimates its target
audience. A good and eye-pleasing choice of paper, simple aesthetics. A pure joy of a beautiful work.

LITTLE DANDELIONS
Designer: Angelika Schneider
Publisher: Tänapäev
Printer: Printon, sales manager Hermo Uibo
Jury:
A very laconic colour palette, witty composition and attractive typography. Non-traditional use of illustrative
material, playful, an extraordinary amount achieved with very little. A fine example of the use of two colours,
bold contrasts. A beautiful book that will hopefully also appeal to the younger generation with its fun design.

Jury:
Masterfully crafted, detailed and endlessly inventive images. A sharply conceived dummy layout,
in which a series of several pages of images alternate with longer blocks of text. A pleasing, dreamy choice
of colours. A bravely small and handy children’s book that won’t be overlooked by older readers.
A book polished to perfection.
